I’m not a BTS fan, but it’s hard to not know about the K-Pop phenomenons.

So this article caught my eye the other day:

BTS’ Jungkook shares why he ‘tortures himself’ over every mistake

Yikes, I hate to hear that somebody is that hard on themselves about mistakes. We all make them. That’s even true of world-renowned pop stars and celebrities.

It turns out that the headline is a bit of a mistake. Jungkook USED to torture himself, but has gotten better at dealing with mistakes.

He said:

“In the past, if I made a mistake, I felt weighed down by that moment and tortured myself with it, but now if I do something wrong I just tell myself to do better and keep practicing.”

Instead of torturing ourselves, we can be kind to ourselves, which helps us persevere and be resilient.
