This news story caught my eye the other day — actually, it was my ears (my mistake) as I was listening to NPR:
As you can read there, they learn from their mistakes, failures, and “bombs”:
“You bomb so much and your best teacher is your last bomb,” said Groundling Michael Churven. “I’ve never learnt so much as when I’ve failed miserably on the stage because you learn firstly to just let it go, which I think is a key ingredient. And secondly, it forces you to think, okay, what was missing in that sketch.”
How can we bring that same mindset into our own workplaces, especially if we’re working in settings where mistakes aren’t a matter of life and death?
